Who is the award for? This award is ideal for those who deliver structured activities such as swimming lessons, aquacise or swim club and want to be trained in how to supervise and respond effectively in the event of an emergency. To find out more about the NRASTC course then visit our course information page here; www.threewhistles.co.uk/national-rescue-award Pre requisites Be at least 16 years of age Swim a minimum of 50 metres on your front and back Surface dive to the deepest part of the pool Climb out unaided without using steps or ladders (where venue design permits). Dates and times Saturday 15th November from 9am till 5pm Sunday 16th November from 9am till 5pm Cost - Full course £150 per person to attend the full 2 day course - Including EFAW certificate Plus £15 to include Emergency First Aid at Work qualification. All the content required for the EFAW is included within this courses dates and times, however the admin charge of £15 is needed if you want the extra certificate provided separately. - 1 day refresh or renew For those wanting to refresh their first aid skills (day 1 only) then this will cost £75. For those wanting to refresh their pool theory and rescue skills (day 2 only) including taking their assessment this will cost £75. Venue Halton Leisure Centres Moor Lane Widnes WA8 7AH Additional info This course is taking place at a pool which is 2.0m deep. The use of a PXB is also included on this particular course.
